I was meaning to write this a few weeks ago, but never go the chance to...but my friend, Grace, Jonathan Shieh, me, and her friend from Hong Kong were all meeting somewhere in Taipei to eat dinner together. As I arrived first at our meeting place, I saw from a far Grace hopping on her foot, supported by two friends to her side and her leaning on her umbrella like a cane! As she arrived closer, Grace explained that she just came from a job interview wearing her high heels and just thirty minutes ago, she twisted her left ankle!
You see, Grace is a feisty girl and she loves Jesus so much and immediately asked me to pray for her ankle for Jesus to heal her on the spot! She kicked her ankle and rested it on top of a fire hydrant and demanded that we pray for her in the middle of a busy taipei tourist street in front of her other two friends that don't know Jesus yet!
So we did, we prayed for her. Jonathan and I lightly placed our hands on her already swollen ankles. I prayed, "Jesus come and heal Grace's ankle! Ankle be healed in Jesus' name!" ... And literally within seconds, Grace noticed that her ankle doesn't hurt anymore!!! Praise Jesus! She even began to start running right then and there! Her unbeliever friend was visibly shocked but was in disbelief that it was Jesus that healed the ankle. So, throughout dinner and over some very yummy Japanese ramen noodles, I tried to keep telling him that it was Jesus that healed the ankle and not me.... But he wouldn't listen... Well....I don't ever claim to have Jedi powers, but I know my God has super Jedi powers and is always looking for someone on earth to release His love,healing, signs and wonder!!!! It's true, in the bible it says that signs and wonders will follow those that believe in Him! More Lord!

Yonnie's latest update: My Big Move to Taipei, Taiwan!
Just the latest on my update here in Taipei:
As many of you know, I spent the past few years in Mozambique, Africa, working with the poor. It has been a privilege watching the many little Mozambican orphans come and be transformed by the heart of Jesus. I’ve learned so much by watching God’s spirit of adoption work on their hearts and turning them into sons and daughters of the King! For many years now, I’ve had repeated prophetic words over my life about ministering to the heart of Asia. My heart is to bring Asia, the revelation of God’s “spirit of adoption” to those orphaned in spirit, body, and in heart! Kris Vallotton called me out once in Pemba and said, “You will be going back to your people”. The late Jill Austin prophecied that I will be going to “Asia”. Prophecy or no prophecy, the calling for Asia is certain, but the question was “when”. As I was teaching in the Iris Harvest Mission School this past August 2009, I’ve heard the clear calling that it was time to step out to Asia. Having served under Heidi and Rolland for the past 5 years, I feel so blessed and privileged to have both my spiritual parents come to Taiwan and ordain me on Feb. 2, 2010, in the land where I was born, the land of my inheritance!
I feel especially honored to have Papa Rolland come to my ordination for this was also the land where he grew up. He grew up going to Tai Chung’s Morrison International School for missionary kids. Rolland’s grandfather started an orphanage in China where the manifested presence of God fell on the orphaned boys. The illiterate Chinese boys experience the manifested love of the Father, open heavens, signs, wonders, and visions in the early 1900’s. It is my prayer and desire that as I’m ordained by Papa Rolland, that God will also grant me the privilege to carry this rich spiritual inheritance and legacy to open heavens for my present day Asia! **(Rolland, who was born in China, then raised in Taiwan, grew up eating Chinese food and speaking Mandarin at home! One day, little seven year old Rolland came back from school, had a great revelation, and said this to his mother, “ Mom, how come you never told me that I wasn’t Chinese!”) ...so cute.
My move to Taiwan in November 2009 was the scariest thing that I've ever done believe it or not! It is way scarier than going to Mozambique! God has been so kind and showering me with unexpected favors and blessings! I feel like something very significant is happening in this little island and it's about to bust open at it's seams! As our head Iris Pastor Supresa said to me once, “ Yonnie, I’ve traveled and spoken all over the world, but the one place that I feel is heavy and pregnant with revival is Taiwan!” Amen to that! Many doors have opened up to me and I'm still praying and asking the Lord for wisdom and discernment on which doors to walk through. I'm learning that good doors aren't necessary the BEST doors that my Father had intended for me.
Sometimes I have to pinch myself, because I find myself with the privilege of influencing movers and shakers of this nation! Within the last weeks, I got to pray for and receive a father’s blessing from the King of Ghana, Dr. Kingsley Fletcher, who happened to be a pastor/prophet and a respected UN world leader! I’ve had the privilege to minister weekly to a young group of Taiwan’s top entertainers, artists, celebrities. Together, we are working with the largest club owner in Taiwan, who was radically saved by God, to bring Church and Holy Spirit into the dance club! I’m contending for God’s redemption and love for Taiwan’s top entertainers because China’s entertainment culture is highly influenced by Taiwan’s pop culture! Please pray for me to have wisdom and discernment to see the Father’s heart for this nation.
Within this group of entertainers, I'm discipling a 27 year old entrepreneur business woman who recently accepted Jesus and is donating a hundred percent of her net profit to start her own orphanage and church in Taiwan! As a daughter of God, she realized her true calling to love the orphans of the indigenous mountain people! She always had a dream to open a chocolate store since she was little and now the store is doing very well! Her central kitchen has the capacity to support 200 more chocolate retail stores! Who would have thought gourmet chocolate and orphanage would come together in the Kingdom of God!
Taiwan is REALLY hungry for inner healing and Father’s unconditional love! The spiritual orphans are coming home back to the Father! People have been moved tears as they hear about Father's love for them! I've been sharing the Father heart message to many different groups of people. I had the opportunity to teach about the Father’s heart for missions at Bread of Life (Taiwan's largest charismatic church) mission school in January. Together with my best friends, Patricia Chen, Sophia Song, and Barbara Goff of “Whole Heart Ministries”, we are kicking off the Father heart brand of inner healing in Taiwan!
I want to say a huge heart-felt thank you to my new spiritual family in Taiwan! Thank you Carl and Ginny Chien and Pastor Jonathan and Eileen Chow for taking me into your spiritual family, and opening your homes to me! I could not have transitioned so well without you! I’m excited to have you meet my Iris Family in February during the conference when Heidi and Rolland are here!
